Canada Issued 44,124 Invitations to Immigration Candidates in the First Quarter Of 2021

Canada is eyeing a goal that many are loving.

In the first quarter of 2021, Canada issued out 44,124 invitations to deserving immigration candidates.

This is the most that they have issued in a quarter since Express Entry was officially introduced to the public back in the year 2015.

Express Entry is the main way that the Federal Government of Canada welcomes its Economic Class Immigrants.

The entire process has 2 steps, which includes meeting the eligibility criteria of one of the 3 skilled worker programs that they have. Those are managed under the Express Entry. After that, eligible candidates are required to upload their profiles on the official website of the Federal Government, where they will be getting an official Comprehensive Ranking System score. The CRS score is based on the age, education, language skills, and experience in work of the candidate.

In the second step, the IRCC (Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada) holds out Express Entry draws inviting successful candidates to apply for permanent residence.

The IRCC holds a number of draws every 2 weeks and sends out invitations to candidates that have the highest CRS scores. However, this has changed since the pandemic.

International Students In Quebec Can Submit Their Documents Online

Candidates that are applying for the International Student Program of Quebec will be allowed to submit supporting documents online.

The Government of Quebec had moved to an online application system for their international student program in 2008.

The majority of applications for temporary selection for studies are now being allowed to be submitted through the online portal.

However, there are a number of documents that are still mandatory to be sent to the ministry though mail.

The Immigration Ministry of Quebec, which is also known as MIFI, says they have implemented a secure electronic document submission solution that will help them facilitate the process for international students.

The new service is called Arrima, and it is available through the immigration application management system of Quebec.

What is Arrima?

Arrima was introduced in 2018 by the government of Canada to manage the bank of candidates for the Skilled Worker Program of Quebec after the program was switched from paper-based to first come first served application approach to the EOI (Expression of Interest) system.

The EOI system of Quebec manages the bank of candidates for a Quebec Selection Certificate, which is also known as the Certificat de sélection du Québec or CSQ.

A CSQ is required in order to apply for permanent residency in the province of Quebec.

Candidates can express their interest by creating a profile in Arrima, which is then placed in the pool of candidates and ranked based on a score or other criteria.

The Immigration Ministry of Quebec issues invitations to apply for a CSQ based on either a candidate score or other factors such as labor needs in the province’s outlying regions.

Candidates that get a CSQ are allowed to apply for a permanent residency with the federal immigration ministry of Canada.

The federal immigration ministry of Canada is responsible for verifying medical and criminal admissibility.

For people that are wondering if they are still allowed to submit their application or other supporting documents in paper format, yes you can, and you can do them through mail too.

Canada To Welcome Over 390,000 Immigrants In 2022

FeaturedCanada To Welcome Over 390,000 Immigrants In 2022

The government of Canada is going to welcome over 390,000 immigrants, who can apply for permanent residency, in the year 2022.

As part of their goal, the country is going to welcome over 1 million new permanent residents in the next 3 years.

The numbers were revealed by the federal government of Canada in their 2020 to 2022 Immigration Levels Plan.

Canada is continuing their approach to increase their immigration levels gradually.

Their larger Canadian immigration Canada plan will allow the country to increase their population.

In 2018, the federal government of Canada welcomed 320,000 newcomers, and in 2019 the government of Canada brought in 341,000 immigrants.

For this year’s plans, the federal government of Canada is targeting to bring 341,000 immigrants into the country.

For the year 2021, the government of Canada is going to welcome an additional 351,000 immigrants.

In 2022, the government of Canada will welcome over 361,000 immigrants to its country. For 2022, the government of Canada can push those numbers to 390,000.

In the words of CIC News, the “most significant revelation from the announcement is Canada’s target for 2022 since today is the first time such information has become publicly available.”

In the year 2017, the government of Canada reintroduced their multiyear levels plans after their first attempt, which was done between 1982 to 1984, got disrupted by a recession.

The return to multi-year plans is meant to help stakeholders such as urban planners to forecast what steps they need to take to support the economic and social integration of newcomers.

The newcomers are going to help fix the economic and fiscal pressures Canada is facing, which is the result of its aging population and extremely low birth rate.

According to official numbers, over 9 million Canadians will reach their retirement age in the next decade, which means Canada will become more dependent on immigrants when it comes to maintaining their healthy workforce and economy.

Know the best from the best- Express Entry System 2019

The express entry system is in the ground and has completely transformed the management of Canada’s immigration system in 2019. New systems have been adopted to offer immigration to applications, which means much faster control times.

However, not everyone is as clued-up about Express Entry Visa services Canada as they claim to be, here at Immigration Company in Canada, we’ve observed there are several myths about the express entrance program.
cs immigrations6

We’re going to undertake some of the myths and misconceptions that currently exist about express entry program in 2019.

  • Everyone can enroll the express entry pool

Have a look at the criterion for Canadian Express Entry. One can only enter the express entry pool if most likely eligible for Canadian immigration with a federal economical immigrants’ program.

The greatest mistake made is that anyone that wishes to immigrate to Canada – regardless of age or capability – may enter the pool for Express Entry. This simply isn’t right, and prospects have to be eligible for one of the existing federal immigration programs:

  • The Federal Skilled Trading Program (FSTP)
  • The Federal government Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
  • The Canadian Experience Course
  • To find out whether you’re eligible for Canadian immigration, submit our free immigration assessment.
  • You must have employment offer to qualify for Express Entry

An employment offer isn’t completely necessary, but it can help increase your chances

It’s correct that Canadian employers will be allowed to have a more direct impact via Express Entry, but you don’t want a job offer to immigrate to Canada under the new system.

  • The eligible profession list under the Skilled Worker Program still is applicable

There is no available occupation list as of from January 1. There has been much confusion from potential prospects around the subject of the older eligible career list and whether it still remains in place or will be updated. Also, now there is no eligible occupation list at all.

Candidates must instead simply be able to demonstrate they’ve had at least a year’s work experience in a skilled occupation at some point within the past 10 years. Found in conditions of eligibility, this is particularly very good news for potential individuals who recently might not have recently been as part of the previous set of qualified occupations.
