Quebec Education Ministry to Recruit Teachers from Abroad

The education ministry of Quebec has launched a campaign so they can recruit teachers from other countries.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Quebec launched a new online website that is aimed at providing information about teacher training to foreigners and Canadians in hopes of attracting workers in the field of education.

The announcement was made on January 22, 2020, by Minister Jean-Francois Roberge, The Education and Higher Education Minister of Quebec.

https://www.csimmigration.ca/

In a press release, Minister Roberge said, “I am pleased to launch this initiative to promote and provide information about teaching practices in Quebec. I am convinced that ‘Devenir enseignant ‘will benefit a large number of people interested in the teaching profession, whether they are from Quebec or abroad.”

The minister added, “With all the opportunities that today’s employment environment offers, we must, therefore, do more to publicize all the advantages of the profession and attract new teachers. I am confident that this website, entirely devoted to teaching, will help us achieve that goal.”

In the website, there is a Devenir Enseignant section, which has been integrated into the content of the existing online platform.

The section is made for immigrants, students, teachers, and adults that are undergoing a career change.

In addition to the basic information on the teaching profession, this new section contains a description of the teacher’s duties, instructions, on how to obtain a teaching license, resources for finding a job in the field as well as practical information for teachers that are looking to migrate to the province of Quebec in Canada.

Foreigners that are interested in coming to Quebec to teach can find more information about the internationally recognized programs that are going to allow them to teach in the province, consult a list of countries from which training might be recognized, and read up on the application procedure.

According to information provided on the website, many training courses are internationally recognized for teaching in Quebec and many professional and educational trajectories lead to this profession.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education in Quebec emphasized that it is possible for teachers from different countries to become teachers in Quebec even if it is not their current occupation.

Currently, the school in Quebec is facing a huge shortage of teachers, and a number of high efforts are being done so newcomers and current residents in Quebec can have qualified teachers.

Are you a teacher? This is the perfect time to use your experience and migrate to a different Country! Best immigration Agents Calgary is the most known Canadian immigration Canada in Calgary and vicinity.
